URI webTECH – Security Transfer

URI webTECH SaaS systems (such as PREGO-PM, Scylla CRM and other services) are designed for long-term operation and continuous development. However, a legitimate question may arise: “What happens if the service is permanently discontinued?”

The Security Transfer provides a clear and fair answer: if the service is permanently terminated for any reason, you will not be left without options.

1) What does “Security Transfer” mean?

The Security Transfer is a customer protection commitment ensuring that in the event of service termination, continued system usage remains possible.

  • Not an empty promise, but a predefined contingency scenario.
  • Not a marketing trick, but focused on long-term reliability.
  • Not a guarantee of perpetual service, but a commitment not to leave customers unsupported.

2) When does it apply?

The Security Transfer becomes active only if the service is permanently discontinued (e.g. shutdown, business closure, or permanent inability to operate).

During normal operation, the system continues running in the cloud.

2.1 Notification and transition period

If termination is foreseeable, customers will be notified in advance and granted a reasonable period for data backup and transition.

3) What is included?

3.1 Full data export

The principle is simple: your data remains yours. In the event of termination, your data will be provided in exportable format (e.g. export files, database extract, or system-supported data package). Data export functionality is also available during normal operation.

3.2 Last stable system version for independent operation

The Security Transfer applies exclusively in case of permanent termination and does not constitute a generally available service option. Upon activation, the system may continue operating on your own server or with another hosting provider.

This is a contingency solution — not a perpetual operational guarantee.

4) What is not included?

  • Perpetual hosting obligation
  • Perpetual development or feature updates
  • Perpetual support for independently installed versions
  • Compatibility guarantees with future server environments

After termination, further system operation becomes the responsibility of the customer.

5) Who operates the system afterwards?

  • The customer’s internal IT staff
  • External contracted specialists
  • A service provider chosen by the customer

This ensures independence from any single provider.

6) Why is this beneficial?

  • Predictability
  • Data security
  • Freedom of choice
  • Transparency

7) Clarification

The Security Transfer does not mean the service can never end. It means there is a predefined procedure if it does.

In short: If the service is discontinued, your data and the possibility of continued operation remain secured.
